1. Operational Safety Notes

  • Operators must receive basic safety training before using the 18-inch engineering barge, and master standardized full heavy-load bearing and positioning operation specifications.
  • It is strictly forbidden to overload the barge or place eccentric loads for a long time to prevent hull permanent deformation and floating instability under full heavy load.
  • Do not operate the barge in extreme weather such as level-11 strong wind, thunderstorm and heavy rain to prevent hull rolling and collision accidents.
  • The operation water depth shall never be less than 0.60m to prevent hull stranding, bottom scratch damage and floating cabin extrusion deformation under full load.
  • Avoid strong collision with shore ridges, stones and hard buildings during hull movement to prevent hull welding crack and floating cabin damage.

2. Daily Maintenance Precautions

  • Clean deck sludge, sundries and accumulated water after daily heavy-load work to keep the hull dry and clean, and avoid long-term humid corrosion.
  • Regularly check the tightness of eight enlarged floating cabins, welding seams and mooring accessories every month, and repair damaged anti-rust coating in time.
  • Regularly inspect the fixed anchor base and guardrail connecting parts, tighten loose bolts, and replace aging and damaged accessories regularly.
  • For long-term idle 18-inch engineering barge, drain deck accumulated water, park it in dry shore area, and cover with dustproof & rainproof protective cover.

3. Fault Handling Precautions

  • Once abnormal floating tilt or water inflow is found during full-load heavy-duty operation, stop working immediately, unload deck load, and push the hull to shallow shore area for inspection and maintenance.
  • In case of hull structural damage and floating cabin water inflow faults, contact official after-sales team for professional repair; private unauthorized welding and modification are prohibited, otherwise the warranty will be invalid.
  • All maintenance and replacement accessories must adopt factory standard parts to ensure the overall structural stability and heavy-load safety of the barge.
